Meet Chelsea Fulton, the powerhouse behind the scenes at Mercer Hair Studio. As Operations Manager, Chelsea plays a vital role in ensuring the salon runs efficiently, supporting the team, optimizing processes, and helping create the exceptional experience guests have come to expect from Mercer Hair Studio.

Chelsea is a proud graduate of Appalachian State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Sociology. With more than 15 years of experience in technical communications, project management, and leadership, she brings a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving to every aspect of her role.

Prior to joining Mercer Hair Studio, Chelsea was a systems analyst for Lowe's Home Improvement and spent a decade as a Senior Technical Writer for a global cybersecurity company. These experiences helped develop her expertise in process improvement, team collaboration, organizational efficiency, and communication—skills she now uses to help Mercer Hair Studio continue to grow and thrive.

While guests may not always see Chelsea working behind the scenes, her impact is felt throughout the salon. From refining internal systems and supporting team development to coordinating projects and enhancing the overall guest experience, she is dedicated to creating an environment where both guests and team members can succeed.

Outside of the salon, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband, Tayler, and their two children. Together, Chelsea and Tayler also own and operate Punch Runners, a mobile bar business serving events throughout the Lowcountry. Whether she's managing projects, supporting the salon team, or brainstorming new ideas, Chelsea brings energy, creativity, and a people-first mindset to everything she does.

Chelsea's goal is simple: to help create a salon experience that feels effortless, welcoming, and memorable for every guest while supporting a culture where the Mercer Hair Studio team can do their best work.
